Database Specialist

• Performs work for the Army Security Office (ASO) Army Research and Technology Protection Center (ARTPC).
• Replicates the Army version Microsoft (MS) Access database and SharePoint presence for Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (USD (R&E)) and provide a method to link Army data to the USD for R&E SharePoint sub-site.
• Develop, installs, tests, maintains, and operates a database/tool to support CIDA case management, metrics, and reporting, and provide matrix on the CIDA workload.

• Minimum Education/Training: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or comparable degree in the Information Technology (IT) field

• Minimum Experience: 6 years Database development experience.

• Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.

• Additional certifications in IT programs related to experience.
• Certifications for a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Data Platform or the Oracle Database Administrator Certified Professional. 
• Experience writing functions and procedures in MS Access and Visual Basic.
