NTT DATA is looking for high-achieving team players that are quickly adaptable to new challenges and entrepreneurial ventures. We are looking for a Databricks Engineer to work remotely with our global client. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of data solutions using Databricks, including data ingestion, transformation, and processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Architect scalable and efficient data pipelines on the Databricks platform to support business analytics and reporting needs.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of Databricks engineers, ensuring best practices and standards are followed.
• Mentor junior engineers and facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to build expertise within the team.
• Conduct code reviews, performance optimizations, and troubleshooting of Databricks applications.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the data engineering space and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Act as a subject matter expert on Databricks, providing guidance and support to stakeholders across the organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on Databricks.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing complex data solutions using Databricks, Apache Spark, and related technologies.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with SQL, Python, Scala, or other programming languages commonly used in data engineering.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Experience working in Agile development environment is a plus.
