Day Operator

Salary - £26,506.11 plus Veolia Benefits 

Hours - 40 per week, Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm

Location - Solvent Recovery Facility Garston, Liverpool, L19 8EG

This facility offers a unique range of standard and tailored solvent recovery services to produce recycled solvent products to the highest specification.

What will you be doing?

• Sample all processes under the direction of the QC Chemist

• Accurately complete all documentation relevant to site activities

• Undertake routine maintenance tasks such as greasing, cleaning and checking plant and equipment

• Loading and unloading activities bulk (tanker) and packaged materials

• Bulking packaged material from container to tank

• Stock picking

• Maintain high standards of housekeeping on the site

• Adhere to site risk assessments

• Undertake site audits

• Assist with the commissioning of new plant and equipment

• Attend required meetings

• Daily, weekly and monthly monitoring and reporting

What are we looking for?

• Similar operational manual handling experience

• FLT licence with experience of operation of mechanical handling equipment
