Day Porter Janitor

This role is essential for maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our patients and staff. The Day Porter will ensure that our facilities are well-kept and that all areas are safe and sanitary. Responsibilities • Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks throughout the facility. • Ensure all common areas, restrooms, and patient rooms are clean and well-maintained. • Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, and buffing as needed. • Assist with custodial duties to maintain a safe and hygienic environment. • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. • Support the overall cleanliness of the facility to enhance patient experience. Requirements • Previous experience in custodial or cleaning roles preferred. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Good communication skills to interact effectively with staff and patients. • Familiarity with industrial or commercial cleaning practices is a plus.
