Day Porter Janitor

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and simple maintenance tasks. Monday-Friday schedule, day shift 8 hours per day Duties • Perform routine cleaning tasks in multi-family settings, including pressure washing, window cleaning, and trash chute maintenance. • Assist with cleaning tasks as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards. • Provide support in facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or issues to management promptly. • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient cleaning operations and high standards of cleanliness. • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stocked and in good working condition. Requirements • Experience in janitorial or custodial roles is preferred. • Familiarity with floor care techniques • Pressure washer operation • Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. • Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties throughout the day. • 2 Forms of Valid US ID Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Work Location: In person
