Day Warehouse Worker

Overview

At Royal, distribution is the heart of what we do. Each of our warehouses carry a full stock of food service supplies, sanitary supplies and janitorial equipment to quickly and efficiently meet our customer’s needs. This wouldn’t be possible without our “behind the scenes” warehouse crew, committed to sustaining a safe and harmonious day-to-day operation. Led by a Warehouse Manager, our team ensures inventory is properly received, distributed, and shipped to our customers- the Royal way!

Scheduled hours for this position are Monday Through Friday from 8am to 5pm with the potential for overtime.

Salary Range: $17-$19/hr Depending on Experience

Essential Duties

• Load and unload common carrier freight and Royal delivery trucks.
• Receive and unload vendor deliveries per Royal guidelines.
• Put product away in designated areas using RF devices.
• Maintain accurate inventory and product labeling.
• Work as team to build and shrink wrap safe and transportable pallets.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous exposure to warehouse environment a plus, but not required.
• Previous experience utilizing material handling equipment (forklift, order picker, electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack, hand truck and baler) preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of RF system a plus.
• Ability to safely lift 50 pounds.
