DB Project Manager
Job Description
The DB Project Manager is responsible for the general oversight and project management of Defined Benefit administration work related to special client projects for the Employee Benefits Practice. The PM works under general supervision exercising a great deal of initiative and independent judgment in the performance of any task assigned by the DB Special Projects Team Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION
- Coordinate work for new Defined Benefit Implementation projects for all aspects of the implementation project from sales support to the transition to the ongoing client team; includes project management and coordination of existing client support and changes.
- Coordinate staffing and implementation processes with the Systems Team Manager for new and ongoing Defined Benefit administration business on Milliman's proprietary DB Administration system.
- Assist in the development and review of plan specifications, system setup and process coordination for new Defined Benefit administration implementations based on existing plan documents, summary plan descriptions, and sample calculations.
- Assist in support of overall work management and project management tasks associated with client technology support and development.
- Review, apply, and document all non-system-oriented DB administration implementation policy and procedure, as appropriate.
- Manage overall scope of work. Documenting and billing where appropriate for services outside of the initial definition of the project
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Knowledge of all regulatory facets of defined benefit plan administration such as plan terminations, 415 benefits limits, 401(a) (17) limits, minimum required distributions, nonqualified plans and other defined benefit regulatory issues involving ERISA and IRS Revenue Rulings.
- Must possess strong organizational skills and have the ability to effectively manage and track many tasks, issues and projects at one time.
- Must possess the ability to effectively manage project scope and client expectations, while providing a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
- Must possess the ability to accomplish tasks through others, in an environment with no reporting relationship.
- Must possess a solid understanding of the DB outsourcing market and product
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- CPC or QPA a plus.
- PMP a plus.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows, Office (Word and Excel) and Project. Experience with Microsoft Access and/or SQL Server a plus.

COMPENSATION
The salary range is $70,000 to $115,000, depending on relevant factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc.
