Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient and scalable data transformation pipelines using DBT on Snowflake. 
• Work closely with data analysts and engineers to understand data requirements and develop transformation models. 
• Optimize DBT models for performance and cost-efficiency, ensuring high-quality, reliable data for analytics. 
• Automate and manage data workflows, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data transformations within the data architecture. 
• Monitor and troubleshoot DBT and Snowflake-related issues, identifying performance bottlenecks and resolving errors. 
• Ensure data quality through automated testing, validation, and documentation within DBT models. 
• Maintain clear documentation for DBT pipelines and Snowflake architecture to enable transparency and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience working with DBT and Snowflake in a data engineering or analytics role. 
• Proficiency in SQL and strong understanding of data modeling techniques. 
• Experience in building, testing, and optimizing DBT models and workflows in Snowflake. 
• Familiarity with cloud-based data warehouses, particularly Snowflake, including data loading, querying, and optimization. 
• Solid understanding of data pipeline orchestration, scheduling, and automation. 
• Hands-on experience in version control systems, such as Git. 
• Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. 
• Written and spoken fluency in English, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively. 

Nice to have:

• Experience with other data transformation tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend). 
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. 
• Knowledge of data quality frameworks and best practices. 
• Experience working in agile or fast-paced development environments. 
• Knowledge of Python or other programming languages for data processing.
