DCGS-A/JCIDS Subject Matter Expert

Job Description

Arctic Slope Mission Services (ASMS) is looking for a DCGS-A/JCIDS Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead their team at the Army Capabilities Management (ACM) Foundation (ACM F). They will provide Military Intelligence (MI) technical support to ACM-F Distributed Common Ground System -- Army (DCGS-A) capability development efforts supporting the Chief of Staff Army (CSA) priorities and the Army's Cross Functional Teams. This will include providing support to Army Cyber activities for DCGS-A capability requirements development, management, prioritization, mission threads, and associated Concept of Operations (CONOPS), data flows, and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP).

In addition to the DCGS-A support, they will also be supporting the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) process by coordinating with other teams to ensure capture and documentation of DCGS-A capability requirements. After communication, the SME will develop and provide input to JCIDS capability requirements documentation. This will include, when called for, Analyses of Alternatives (AoA), Cost-Benefit Analyses (C-BA), and other DCGS-A documentation in support of the JCIDS and Milestone Decision processes as they pertain to the functional areas.

Under government guidance the SME will assist the Government Action Officer personnel in staffing these documents in accordance with the JCIDS process within TRADOC ARCIC, and Army and Joint Staff agencies and organizations through to final approval.

Requirements

Desired Skills

• Thorough understanding of the JCIDS process
• Experience working with DCGS-A
• Ability to work independently with little direction and guidance
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office Suite -- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum ten years of practical experience with DCGS-A and JCIDS

Clearance Requirements

Employee shall possess a TOP SECRET (TS) clearance and be eligible for a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance at time of hire.
