- Compensation Range: $95,852.00 - $110,128.00
Compensation ranges are determined by role and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the pay range for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
What You'll Do
- Deal-Level Support: Review incoming deal requests to ensure alignment with sales and pricing strategies, as well as profitability targets. Work closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product teams to review and structure complex deals, addressing pricing, discounting, terms & conditions.
- Identify Opportunities: Analyze and evaluate performance data of current pricing structures. Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices. Gather, summarize, and quantify informal feedback from Sales, Account Management, and Customer Success to identify areas that need attention.
- Implement Changes: Develop pricing models and strategies to adjust discounting structures. Provide training to all customer-facing teams on any changes.
- Expert Support: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to inform pricing and deal strategies. Analyze current transactional data and relay insights to the Sales and Account Management teams.
- Recording and SOX Compliance: Maintain accurate records and documentation of deal approvals, pricing decisions, and contract terms.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in deal desk, pricing, sales operations, or related roles in the software industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence decision-making.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in deal analysis and documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools for financial modeling and analysis.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and CPQ (Configure Price Quote) tools is a plus.
