The RoleAspire is looking for a Deal Desk Analyst to join our rapidly growing team. This person will work with in-house and external legal resources to manage and improve the company’s legal processes and procedures, with a primary focus on customer contracts. This person will report to the Senior Sales Operations Manager.
What you'll be working on:- Serve as the primary legal liaison to our go-to-market teams and provide the first level of review of all customer contracts.
- Coordinate responses to customers, pushing back or suggesting revised language where appropriate.
- Identify substantive legal issues and escalate to counsel as necessary/appropriate.
- Work closely with our Finance, Accounting, and Revenue Operations teams to ensure contracts are unambiguous for critical business purposes, including revenue recognition, billing, and renewal management. Conduct regular training sessions with go-to-market teams to proactively identify sales pain points, resolve common legal issues, and communicate process changes.
- Create pricing playbooks and processes
- Review vendor contracts and escalate to legal counsel as appropriate.
- Evaluate software tools and process improvements to scale our contract management capabilities.
- Ensure contract documentation and storage are complete.
- 3+ years experience as a contracts administrator or paralegal, preferably at a high-growth technology company.
- 1+ years of Salesforce experience.
- 1+ years of experience with contract repositories
- Experience reviewing customer contracts, especially software-as-a-service (SaaS) and professional services agreements.
- Experience efficiently and effectively negotiating with customers, partners, and vendors in a positive and timely manner.
- Excellent interpersonal skills working with cross-functional stakeholders on tight deadlines.
- Sound and practical business judgment, intellectual curiosity, and adeptness at balancing risk and opportunity.
- Eagerness to work independently and balance multiple projects while also possessing strong interpersonal skills to drive clear, concise, and effective communication at all levels of the organization.
