What You'll Do:
HG Insights is currently seeking a highly driven Deal Desk Manager to join our global sales team. This person is responsible for actively working with sales, customer success, finance, and other cross functional teams for deal structuring and commercial terms for complex enterprise deals. This role is a true value-add partner and considered the business liaison to the field sales organization for complex, non-standard enterprise deals. This position will sit in Santa Barbara but will frequently interact with our UK sales office
What You'll Be Responsible For:
- Be the trusted advisor to the sales team, collaborating on pricing, product, and commercial terms for all deals
- Collaborate with finance on the approval of contract term redlines; coach sales into alternative options that satisfy both the customer and HG
- Establish and apply best-practice methodologies to develop and scale the Deal Desk through process automation and improved efficiencies
- Proactively guide deals through internal processes to ensure timely delivery of all needed approvals and documentation
- Review opportunity details in salesforce and designate deal completion
- Cultivate internal relationships with all levels of the sales organization
- Work as a liaison between multiple groups, such as sales, product, customer success, and finance to help facilitate the deal process
- Using your experience, identify and make recommendations for process improvements; assist or drive implementation
- Ad hoc responsibilities as needed to support the sales & finance teams
