Deal Docs Analyst

You will be part of a fast-growing group within the Investor Services Operations team to support Carta’s Fund Administration team with venture capital investment documents. Fund Administration at Carta is rapidly growing, and we have a proven product/market fit in the venture capital space. This team will directly support our key Investor Services priorities of (1) delivering the best possible client experience, (2) enabling exponential growth, and (3) building systems for scale.

• Provide venture investors with a world-class fund administration experience
• Prepare venture investors for quarter-end and year-end reporting requirements 
• Thoroughly review various venture investment legal documents and create structured data
• Provide venture investors with insights leveraging structured investment data 
• Increase internal cross-functional efficiencies, improve team processes and collaborate with the technology team to fix bugs
• Contribute to the ongoing learning and success of the team 
• Identify and own additional projects to drive personal and team efficiency and effectiveness as well as product enhancements

• You have an understanding of accounting/finance/equity, or a legal background
• You have an operational mindset and are constantly looking for ways to streamline processes
• You have the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
• You have strong organization skills and high attention to detail
• You have a high desire to learn and become an expert in the venture investment and private market ecosystem
