At Tietoevry Tech Services our Deal Finance (DF) team focuses on the largest and most complex opportunities. As a Deal Finance Analyst, you will play an integral role in the sales team, maximizing probability of success in transactions by aligning with our customers' objectives while carefully managing risk. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting financial evaluation metrics to our Senior Management.

Working closely with solution architects, bid managers, and sales experts, you will develop and implement effective commercial/pricing strategies, financial engineering solutions, and client-facing materials. With us you will be responsible for:

• Handling initial analysis of project viability and pricing (high level business cases)
• Analyzing current contract financials in negotiation for contract extensions
• Producing insightful qualitative analysis based on standard tools as well as ad-hoc analysis (Excel based)
• Preparing (in conjunction with the appropriate team members) client output e.g. price templates, business cases etc.
• Identifying and mitigating financial risks, ensuring appropriate risk provisions are reflected in financial representations
• Working closely with the Sales Manager / Customer Manager during negotiations
• Ensuring deliverability and mutual benefit for both Tietoevry and our clients in the internal business case and client value proposition

We expect you have:

We believe you are the ideal candidate for this role if you possess a strong commercial orientation, utilizing numbers to illustrate concepts, and have experience or a passion to learn about the technology industry. Alongside your strong analytical skills and attention to detail, you excel in people and communication skills, comfortably engaging with senior management both internally at Tietoevry Tech Services and with our clients.

In addition, we would look for: 

• Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as Economics, Finance, or Business
• Work experience in Corporate Finance, commercially oriented audit, commercial business/project controlling, or equivalent
• Excellent understanding of accounting and corporate finance principles
• Previous experience in corporate finance or project management is a merit
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (primary tool)
• Being comfortable with working in a project based environment, including occasional travel (mainly Nordic countries)
