We are currently seeking a Dealer Asset Recovery Specialist III to work in our Irving/Hybrid office. In this role, the specialist will work regularly with our network of dealer partners to ensure and enforce compliance with various risk policies, credit programs, and dealer agreements. Successful candidates for this role will be self-starters, well-organized, driven, relational, and have expansive knowledge across financial services. 

Specifically, you will: 

  • Maintain regular follow-up with our dealer partners in the recovery of ancillary product cancellation refunds, outstanding titles that breach dealer risk thresholds, buybacks, flat cancellations, and more
  • Maintain adequate account notation that define a clear and adequate history of actions taken for each case/account worked
  • Communicate with stakeholders regularly to ensure all teams impacted/involved are aware of actions, updates, and status through every step in the process
  • Establish and maintain strategic and excellent relationships with our internal sales team and dealer network
  • Administer official correspondence letters according to risk policies and procedures
  • Field inbound and outbound communication and answer questions as needed
  • Perform all responsibilities in accordance with the company’s competencies, compliance, regulatory and information protection requirements
  • Ensure that all internal and external stakeholders receive prompt, efficient, courteous, and professional service, including follow through to resolution
  • Assist the Aftermarket Cancellation team as needed
  • Conduct escalation reviews and assist in critical analysis and decision making as needed

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of
  • Proficient in MS Office 
  • 3+ years auto finance experience, preferably in a dealer-related role
  • 1+ years experience with collections and/or aftermarket collections, asset recovery, etc.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member while using critical thinking and sound judgment in decision making 
  • Strong communication skills interpersonal, verbal and written with the goal of influencing outcome
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective and strategic working relationships
  • Intermediate-Advanced understanding of finance/lending;
  • High-degree of organizational skills, sharp ability to learn quickly, and strong overall knowledge of internal systems
  • Experience working in Salesforce a plus
