What You’re Applying For:
As a Dealer Success Analyst, you’ll work closely with our sales, operations and product teams to ensure the overall health and retention of our automotive dealer partners. You will be directly responsible for the successful execution of Google Analytics specifically including but not limited to tracking, troubleshooting, analysis and reporting.Â
The Dealer Success Analyst is self-motivated and stays up-to-date on trends, feature changes and industry knowledge as it relates to Google Analytics. They are an effective problem solver capable of managing competing priorities to meet deadlines and deliver outstanding work.

What You’ll Do:
- Perform an in depth review of our dealer client’s Google Analytics setup and overall Edmunds product performance
- Confirm accuracy of goal tracking and data, identify potential issues and/or areas to optimize
- Troubleshoot Google Analytics tracking issues and tag implementation; partner with the product team for escalations
- Support sales strategies (i.e., retention, upsell, new business) by generating performance reports and pulling data across vendors
- Analyze performance, identify competitive trends, benchmarking and leverage cohort analyses to highlight key performance indicators that demonstrate user behavior
- Synthesize data across multiple areas and identify those that are most compelling and impactful to our dealer clients goals and/or that identify and predict areas of opportunity across third-parties
- Recommend and adjust strategies to increase revenue share across vendors
- Create decks that deliver data-driven strategic insights and recommendations for existing and new customers
- Have a well versed understanding of Google Analytics to serve as an advisor to sales, dealer clients, agencies and internal teams; be able to translate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, including where coordination of implementation is required
- Perform industry research to understand and resolve non-standard performance issues

Challenges:
- Priorities can shift quickly. You will need to figure out how to balance your day to day responsibilities, ad hoc requests and putting out fires as they arise
- Interacting with non-technical and very technical individuals can be difficult. You will need to have strong communication skills in order to satisfy our internal customers, external dealers and vendors
- You can tell a great story. It’s important to not only understand performance data, but to be able to interpret it for others. Deliver the why and how to ensure success with our products
- You love to be in the know! Staying up to date with Google Analytics and industry trends is an important part of being successful as a Dealer Success Analyst

What You Need:
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) with the ability to translate complex concepts to non-technical dealer partners, vendors and internal teams
- Experience with Google Analytics, Salesforce, Tableau and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- You can tell a great story. It’s important to not only understand performance data, but to be able to interpret it for others. Deliver the why and how to ensure success with our products
- Solid judgment and critical thinking skills. You love to solve complex problems
- You’re comfortable with ambiguity, know how to clarify for action and understand what drives business value
