The Role:

The Deals Desk Manager is a crucial role within the sales operations team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the deals desk function, providing strategic and operational support to the sales team, helping to design, implement, and maintain the systems and processes necessary to manage an efficient and effective sales organization.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage and oversee the deals desk function, ensuring high-quality support for the sales team.
  • Review and approve pricing and contract terms to ensure alignment with company guidelines.
  • Work closely with the sales team to structure deals that maximize revenue and meet customer needs. Support sales with pricing models, increase deal velocity, improve margins.
  • Coordinate with finance, legal, and other departments as necessary to facilitate deal approvals and contract execution.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve deal efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide reporting and analysis of deal metrics to management and other stakeholders.
  • Train and mentor other team members on deal desk processes and best practices.
  • Facilitate excessive discounting approvals and deal contingencies with finance and leadership

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in sales operations, deal desk, or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales enablement tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
