Responsibilities

Gray Tier is seeking a Decision Support Analyst. The Decision Support Analyst will help design and implement decision-support tools and systems, focusing on advanced data analysis, modeling, and innovative data tool creation. This role will ensure the optimized interaction between the data architecture and decision-support tools, enabling various business units to make informed and strategic decisions effectively.

• Create advanced, scalable, and efficient decision-support tools and solutions that aid strategic decision-making across diverse business units
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Conduct comprehensive data analysis and modeling, utilizing predictive and prescriptive analytics, to generate insights and support business objectives
• Develop and maintain robust data architectures to ensure data accuracy, availability, and reliability
• Continually optimize decision-support tools and systems to meet evolving business needs
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies and methodologies to enhance the capabilities of decision-support solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective implementation and integration of decision-support tools with other enterprise systems
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for developed tools and systems
• Ensure all developed solutions comply with industry standards and company policies

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data architecture, data analysis, and decision support systems development, with a focus on tool creation and implementation
• Proficiency in data modeling, data warehousing, and database design
• Strong experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, etc.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or R
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to synthesize complex data and translate findings into strategic insights
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to a non-technical audience
• Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines
