Position Overview:
The Deduction Analyst's primary functions are to assess the reviewing and routing incoming customer claims. Through initial review and some basic analysis, will be able to determine the appropriate course of action. Responsible for the collection of customer claims that are deemed to be invalid. Will be responsible for supporting the Senior Deduction Analyst and Credit Analyst's collection of outstanding invoices. Will be responsible for communicating CCFS department and Eaton policies regarding pricing, freight and returns. Position may also support special project initiatives as determined by management.

In this function you will:
- Responsible for the review and routing of incoming deduction claims. Additionally, based on review of incoming deductions, will be responsible for routing deductions of certain complexity to Senior Deduction Analyst.
- Will be responsible for making initial contact with internal and external customers to collect data and claim detail for claim review.
- Based on review of incoming claims will be responsible for the processing of the deduction through the claim system & collection of invoices resulting in rebilling.
- Ensure appropriate approvals and documentation is received in order to resolve outstanding deductions. Approvals will need to fall within an established limit of authority matrix.
- Will be responsible in assisting other Deduction Analysts and Credit Analysts in compiling the information necessary to make successful collection presentations to customers.
- Abide by Robinson-Pattman Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Cannons of Business Credit Ethics, and Eaton Ethics Policy at all times.

Qualifications
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Associate degree from an accredited institution
- 3 years of customer facing experience.
- Strong skill set in Microsoft office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Sponsorship is not available. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without requiring company sponsorship.
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Moon Township, PA will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited
- 2-3 Years of deduction experience
- Accounting/finance experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Systems (GetPaid/Oracle/SAP)
- Pricing Programs
