Overview of the Role
- One of our clients is seeking a fully dedicated Deductions Specialist to assist them with managing, reconciling, and clearing deductions. This role will be responsible for effectively researching, analyzing, documenting, and resolving a variety of deduction claim types in accordance with client specific standards and procedures. The ideal candidate would have a positive attitude and be well organized, detail oriented with excellent communication skills, and able to work independently.

What You’ll do at C.A. Fortune
- Communicate openly with clients and internal sales department to resolve deduction inquires
- Gather claim documentation, investigate, and analyze to validate customer deductions
- Maintain necessary data to follow up and keep track of deductions
- Process credits to offset resolved deductions
- Work in web-based client systems for contracted customers
- Provide excellent, timely, accurate and professional customer service
- Handle and manage incoming calls and emails from internal & external partners
- Will handle all other tasks as assigned
What You Should Bring to the Table
- Prior CPG deductions is required experienced
- Excellent computer skills – experience using Microsoft Office
- Organized and detail oriented with strong multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to solve problems with urgency
You Will Stand Out if You Have
- UNFI and/or KeHE experience
- Worked in a trade management system (ex: BluePlanner)
- Previous customer service experience
- Prior experience with a broker/manufacturer
