DEF Settlement Accountant

BASIC PURPOSE : Manages the processes that ensure the accuracy of Musket settlements.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process invoices for DEF raw materials daily.
• Communicate with external vendors, as well as interface with other internal teams on settlement issues.
• Monthly reconciliations on costs of sales related to active DEF packaging terminals.
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Education:
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred
• Experience:
  • 2-3 years' experience in accounting or finance

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and ability to learn new software applications and computer programs.
  • Experience with SolArc RightAngle is a plus
  • Experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team work and time management skills, and an ability to be detail oriented also required.
  • Possibility of occasional evening and/or weekend work
• Typical Physical Demands:
  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
