This role is at Spirit AeroSystems Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company at Spirit's Defense Business Unit ("Spirit Defense"). Spirit Defense is an independent supplier to the defense and space marketplace. Position Responsibilities:

• Sets up cost control system monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
• Performs analyses and prepares reports to ensure contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
• Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles sales outlook and variance analysis
• Prepares program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled
• Performs schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks
• Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures directing preparation of expenditure projections and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government
• Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Business Finance Supply Chain Math or related field
• 2+ years of related experience
• Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
• Successful candidates must be able to secure Program access approval

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 5+ years of related experience
• Master's Degree in Business Accounting Finance Supply Chain Math or related field
• Active DoD Security Clearance
• P&L Management
• Cost pool management
• Strong experience with Excel (pivot tables advanced formulas)
• Experience using other Microsoft Office tools (including Word and PowerPoint)
• Experience in contractual EVMS reporting working in Deltek software suite (COBRA PM Compass etc.)
• Understanding of SAP or similar ERP system

Summary Pay Range: $67450 - $103450
