Defense Project and Contract Manager

Thanks for your interest in Oklo!  We are searching for a Defense Project and Contract Manager to join our team to help lead the deployment of an Oklo Aurora powerhouse at Eielson Air Force Base in support of the Department of the Air Force Micro-Reactor pilot program. We are looking to fill this position immediately.

Contract managers at Oklo are responsible for managing the entire life cycle of customer energy contracts. This includes working with internal and external resources to ensure all contractual requirements are met.

A strong candidate will have the ability to master contracts details, understand impacts of key provisions, evaluate risks, resolve disputes, and propose creative solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this position

• Service as the main customer contact for all contract related items

• Facilitate reviews, edits, and negotiation of customer contracts

• Create, maintain, update, and track documents and data related to customer contracts

• Track compliance with contract milestones and other deliverables

• Respond to customer inquires and manage contract amendments

• Regular travel to Fairbanks, AK is required

We are looking for a Contract Manager that is:

• Passionate about clean energy, the environment, and making advanced fission a reality

• Experienced in managing energy contracts

• Organized, thorough, and attentive to details.

• Willing and able to learn quickly

• Eager to work on a dynamic team, receive constructive feedback, and grow with us

• Comfortable in a fast-paced, highly iterative startup environment

Experienced (5-10+ yrs)

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, business, legal/paralegal studies or related field

• Minimum of 5 years experience with an electric utility, energy supplier, renewable energy, renewable energy project development, and/or contract management

• Experience negotiating, writing, understanding, and managing energy contracts

• Proven team player with excellent verbal, written communication/presentation, and interpersonal skills

• Experience working with DoD contracts is a strong plus
