Job Title: DEI Manager

Compensation: $100,000 to $130,000

Location: Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, New Jersey, North Carolina, New York, Oregon, Texas, Washington

Adswerve is looking for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Lead to act as an ambassador, advocate, and support for inclusion, diversity, and equity initiatives across the business.  

The DEI Lead will play a critical role in advancing Adswerve’s DEI strategy, fostering a culture of inclusion and belonging. You will serve as a subject matter expert and liaison to the organization in executing strategic plans to develop and retain underrepresented talent. Additionally, in partnership with internal and/or external subject matter experts, you will develop and implement robust programs, support the creation of short and long-term DEI goals, track metrics, and develop reports that measure results and inform decision-making

Responsibilities
  • Support the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategy by partnering with Adswerve’s Ambassador Group inclusive of our 5 Pillar Teams: IDEA, Culture, Recruiting, Hiring & Retention, Training & Development, and Business Development, implementing DEI Programs and initiatives across departments.
  • Project manage programs to drive and support the high functioning and impact of Adswerve Diversity initiatives
  • Develop, implement and provide ongoing management of diversity strategies and action plans
  • Support the administration of DEI training and education activities and assist with learning opportunities that support leaders in reaching their DEI goals
  • Be a DEI subject matter expert and partner with the Training & Development team to launch DEI trainings and tools in order to foster an employee culture of belonging and inclusion.
  • Lead in creating the DEI Roadmap and company/department OKRs.
  • Incorporate competitive research and diverse segment benchmarking of primary competitors to assess performance metrics.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to evaluate initiatives to ensure that DEI has been considered, including but not limited to people policies, practices, procedures, and internal communications.
  • Help track key company diversity and inclusion metrics to measure program effectiveness against established goals.
  • Research new avenues to partner with externally to support DEI efforts.
  • Partnering with recruitment to enable a consistent, fair, equitable approach to DEI hiring and implement recruiting and hiring strategies to attract team members from diverse backgrounds.
  • Use DEI knowledge and Adswerve data to identify areas where we have the biggest opportunities for change and partner with business leaders and HRBPs to identify targeted initiatives to drive change.
  • Continuously learn, grow, and stay up to date on DE&I best practice and programs, resources, and tools by maintaining contact with others in the field (e.g., professional associations, conference participation, and professional development).
  • Use data to direct decisions and create metrics to measure the effectiveness of corporate DEI initiatives.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual reports with qualitative and quantitative insights that drive recommendations to the senior leadership team.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal/state laws, policies, and procedures (e.g., Equal Opportunity, Americans with Disabilities Act, etc.)
Experience
  • Proven experience managing diversity initiatives across an organization
  • Ability to manage and give input on complex projects across multiple departments and countries.
  • 5+ years of direct experience working on equity and inclusion-related company wide initiatives.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in program/project management.
  • Experience leading programs from ideation to execution and evaluation/establishing program requirements, using data and metrics.
  • Cross-cultural skills and awareness related to individuals from broad backgrounds such as race, ethnicity, religion, veteran status, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, and individuals with disabilities, among others.
  • Excellent understanding of industry benchmarks, leading practices and innovations in DEI.
  • Experience managing employee resource groups and diversity mentorship programs.
  • Ability to lead and support change management with an emphasis on behavioral change.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and the interpersonal skill necessary to interface at all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional presentation skills in large or small groups.
  • Previous experience working with the Human Resources and Training & Development teams to contribute to the development and delivery of diversity training.

This position pays a base salary of $100,000 to $130,000 per year.  Wage differential is based on seniority, merit, geographic location, education, training and experience.
