We're looking for a Deliverability Engineer to join our growing team. As a Deliverability Engineer you will assist the deliverability team with client onboarding and addressing deliverability issues related to users and services. Requirements
- University Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering
- Experience in Enterprise software support and development
- Experienced in SQL, ideally Microsoft SQL Server
- Strong understanding of how databases work
- Excellent written and verbal skills with fluent English
- Strong problem solving and client communication skills
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and methodologies
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic with good organizational skills
- Ability to work with diverse teams in many locations
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical deliverability issues related to users and services
- Interact directly with customers to provide recommendations, updates and action plans
- Support the deliverability team with technical report creation and maintenance
- Monitor mail queues and mail server performance daily
- Periodically review and update mail server configurations
- Document processes and procedures as developed and/or required
- Participate in technical communications within the Deliverability and Technical Support teams to share best practices and learn about new technologies
- Exercise the highest level of caution working with customer data and consistently preserve data integrity
- Communicate system functionality and deliverability concepts in a factual, straightforward manner
- Continuously maintain and prioritize assigned service tickets and projects based on business priority
- Stay up to date with new products, features, and industry changes
Team Responsibilities
- Attend and participate in weekly meetings
- Contribute to team knowledge and information base
- Open and consistent communication within the team
- Summarize and report on tasks performed in support of clients
Ideal Qualifications
- Basic understanding of bulk email sending systems
- Web Application development with HTML and JavaScript
