Your Role and Responsibilities

• As part of Technology Expert Labs – Global Delivery Center (TEL – GDC) and Maximo Practice – Center of Excellence (CoE) you will have the opportunity to be part of a team of IBM Delivery Consultants and Subject Matter Experts delivering expert services to customers and partners across markets on IBM Software solutions and use cases.
• As a Maximo Lead Consultant & Architect you will be preparing Maximo Technical & Functional Specifications based on client business requirements. You will work closely with client teams subject matter experts and key stakeholders from multiple business areas (like Product Offering Management) in providing expert technical guidance for Maximo solutioning Estimation design and implementation.
• You will assist client to analyse their business process and give direction on how these may best fit into Maximo. You will leverage your in-depth understanding of the ‘out-of-box’ product for developing a good functional specification. Based on the understanding of business requirement you should be able to come up with solution(s) to map the business process(es). You should be able to conceptualise the solution prototype various Maximo application and to demonstrate the solution to relevant stakeholders.
• You will independently work on detailed mapping the business into Maximo and prepare Technical design documents. You will leverage your expertise in configuring Maximo. You will be involved in Maximo application configuration Maximo Database configuration Maximo workflow configuration automation scripting Security Group Configuration etc. You must have hands on experience in above.
• You may also be required to perform and assist the technical team in Maximo Configuration and Customisation Data Migration Report development and Maximo Functional Testing (ST and SIT).

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum 16 years of strong hands on Maximo experience

Professional and Technical Expertise:

• Working experience on two or more of IBM MAS Offerings (MAS Manage Monitor Health Predict MVI Mobile)
• Experience in MAS Migration
• Working experience on RHOCP
• Agile Methodology

Required Professional and Technical Expertise:

• IBM MAS 8.x or IBM Maximo Certified Deployment Consultant (V7.6 and/or V7.5)
• Experience of solution design deployment within Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) domain
• Programming: API design Java Python Object-Oriented Programming
• Database: DB2 NoSQL
• Scripting: Perl
• User Interface: HTML CSS Javascript Graphite AngularJS/React
• Cloud Deployment: Cloud Foundry Docker Kubernetes
• Operating System: Knowledge of UNIX/Linux platforms
• Deep understanding and experience across SDLC
• Presentation skills – should be able to present ideas/solutions with clarity to team
• Team Player – Show flexibility to work across technologies/platforms
• Ownership – Own tasks and outcome
• Leadership – Lead and inspire the team

General skills

• Excellent Leadershi analytical problem solving articulation client-handling skills coupled with project/ team leading abilities
