Your Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking individuals with business and technology consulting experience to design configure and implement Apptio’s SaaS solutions for our strategic customers. Apptio’s Software Implementation Consultants see the big picture and function as integrators between business needs and technology solutions. This role will work closely with customers and requires strong customer-facing abilities to include active listening and in areas where knowledge or experience is lacking our customers often require strong leadership/partnership to get them to their desired value outcome. Your Role and Responsibilities:
Apptio is the CIO’s business management system. We build advanced data and analytics applications that help all IT leaders understand and make informed decisions about their technology investments capitalize on the cloud transformation and drive innovation within their organization. Your Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and document functional and business requirements from the client as well as translate them into a solution design and specific requirements ensure the solution has alignment to the clients use cases and provides provides maximum solution value and is within scope of Apptio products/services.
• Configure test & document Apptio dashboards reports and underlying data models to meet functional design and specifications.
• Work closely with other consultants in the organization to leverage skill sets and deliverables.
• Provide end user training as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments in the company to achieve customer satisfaction and resolve customer issues in a timely fashion.
• Work with the product management and development organization to channel client feedback and solutions into future releases of the Apptio product suite.
• Work with content management to channel commonalities across customers into best practices processes & product delivered templates.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 7+ years of experience in a business analyst consulting or technical analyst rol
• Experience with Excel SQL relational databases or business intelligence software.
• Customer facing experience in system implementation
• Ability to demonstrate experience with data analysis and data manipulation.
• Education in Engineering Computer Science MIS Finance or equivalent experience

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Consulting experience in enterprise systems implementations
• Executive report and dashboard design SQL / SSRS KPI’s Tableau etc
• Skilled at working with large data sets quickly detecting and resolving data-related issues.
