Delivery Driver (Full-time/Part-time, DSP Fleet)

Job Summary We are looking for reliable and motivatedDelivery Driversto handle routes inUCSD, La Jolla, Pacific Beach, Clairemont, and nearby areas (ZIP codes:92037, 92038, 92039, 92092, 92093, 92109, 92117, 92122, 92123, 92161). This position ispaid by piece rate, depending on the number of packages delivered. Drivers who perform efficiently can earn the equivalent of$35–$65 per hour. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, punctual, and familiar with the San Diego area—especially UCSD and the coastal regions. Responsibilities • Safely operate a box truck, van, or other delivery vehicle to complete assigned routes. • Deliver packages accurately and on time according to assigned stops. • Load and unload packages efficiently to maintain delivery speed and accuracy. • Provide friendly, professional customer service during deliveries. • Verify delivery records and report any missing or damaged packages. • Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly. • Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse staff regarding route updates or changes. Requirements & Skills • Valid driver’s license with aclean driving record. • Proven experience as adelivery driver or courierpreferred. • Familiarity withUCSD / La Jolla / Pacific Beach / Clairemontareas is highly desirable. • Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs. • Strong time management and organizational skills. • Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently. • Experience with box trucks or cargo vans preferred.
