As a Delivery Engagement Manager, you will drive the successful execution of projects across our customer base. You will own the entire project lifecycle, including scoping, planning, delivery, and close out. Through collaboration with customer resources and internal stakeholders, you will ensure project deliverables exceed customer expectations while adhering to Instabase delivery process and standards. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to improve delivery methodologies and  processes of the practice that will help make customers successful

What you’ll do 

  • Lead large scale projects through scoping, planning, development, launch, stabilisation, debrief facilitation, and close ensuring timely and successful completion while meeting quality standards
  • Collaborate with client business teams, engineers, third-party partners, QA Teams, internal cross functional teams, go-to-market teams to ensure customers receive maximum value
  • Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, task breakdowns, and timelines, and monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, facilitating effective communication, resolving conflicts, and ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings, prepare progress reports, and effectively communicate project updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and visibility.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary to minimize impact on project deliverables.
  • Track project budget, expenses, and resource utilization, ensuring adherence to financial constraints and identifying areas for optimisation.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing, skill development, and cross-functional collaboration.

About you

  • Track record of designing and executing large scale technology transformation projects / programs from start to finish with strong prioritisation and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high energy, team-oriented environment handling multiple project simultaneously
  • Have experience working on successfully delivering projects for financial institutions and having been involved from planning to Production go-live.
  • Technical background or understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) including familiarity to software frameworks, infrastructure technologies is a plus
  • Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster) are a plus.
  • ​​Experience estimating effort and scope for services
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience with Agile project management tools is highly desirable
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with Director+ stakeholders internally and externally
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to navigate complex situations
  • Demonstrated negotiation, conflict management, escalations, executive communication, and leadership skills
