Job Description:
Responsible for managing issues and risks within the Global Markets Technology (GMT) Division. This will be done by effectively implementing GT&Os governance routines, and requirements, using established tools and documented procedures. Provide analytical support in executing internal control discipline and operational. Gather and organize data in order to monitor and test the effectiveness of key controls and status of mitigation and action plans. Prepare documentation for the tracking, monitoring, and escalation of risk related issues to management. Acts as an ambassador of the risk culture.
• Collaborate with the Global Markets Tech divisions, Program Owners, Risk Leads and process owners to respond to technical deliveries, risk deliverables (i.e. application life cycle management deliverables, Audits, Inquiries, including SOX control attestation)
• Assist business and process owners with remediating the most significant risks including Audit Issues, Self-Identified Audit Issues, Quarterly Attestations, and Priority Key Risk and Controls programs.
• Drive communication and coordination across multiple Global Markets Tech divisions to ensure the timely completion of objectives and the seamless execution of plans.
• Coordinate or collaborate on weekly and monthly meetings, reports and monitoring of audits, and risk management routines.
• Build a sustainable risk culture and risk management program within Global Markets Tech , managing metrics and providing transparency.
• Support the Identify, Escalate, Debate risk culture.

Coordinate projects and programs, which includes:
o Business Continuity Testing (ARC/Disaster Recovery/Data Restore)
o Updates to KRR/MBR Monthly PPT Decks
o Application Governance (New/Retiring App Cycle Mgt)
o RISE BAU Deliverable Management
o Audit Issues ( SIAI) and Regulatory Controls
o SOX Quarterly attestations
o Identity Access Management (IAM)
o Enhanced Remediation ERP/NPT Management
o Operational Losses aligned to Technology
o Records Management (GRM)
o UCAL & RCSA
o Revocation Reporting
o GIS Policy Changes
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined deliverables which usually requires engagement from multiple teams such as a project or smaller program. Communicates the work objectives, coordinates delivery, manages risks, ensures compliance to standards, and provides end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables. Ensures execution and delivery meets the client's expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline and cost. Coordinates and facilitates routines to support delivery - e.g. kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, etc. Plans and coordinates delivery and dependencies with across multiple teams. Facilitates dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the defined deliverables. Promotes/facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline. Gathers/facilitates status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule. Ensures that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholders. Ensures deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standards. Supports resource planning for delivery/execution. Individual Contributor.
Required skills:
  • Technology Audit experience required.
  • Technology risk and control experience required
  • Self-starter with ability to work to short deadlines across multiple time zones.
  • Ability to negotiate and collaborate with different stakeholders
  • Diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
  • Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus and achieve objectives
  • Excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills

  • Research best practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data and use continuous process improvement disciplines to achieve results.
  • S trong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • The strongest candidates will have a love for problem solving, great partnership and communication skills.

Desired Skills:
  • Experience in Markets technology or Institutional / Corp Investment technology strongly preferred.
