Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Delivery Manager you will work with Delivery Consultants worldwide helping them scale the implementation and delivery of services for your technical domain. You’ll be accountable for the building launching and enabling the service delivery team with the expertise needed to accelerate the adoption and deployment of IBM technology to address the customer’s challenges. As a change agent you’ll work in collaboration to growth the business thru automation and standardization processes based on proven best practices. In collaboration with a cross function team you’ll lead the strategy to build the practice with emerging techniques and solutions globally.

• Optimizing Processes and Resolving Issues: Working with the Delivery Consultants Developers and Product Teams to optimize processes and resolve services delivery issues
• Solution Documentation and sizing: Partnering with both pre and post sales delivery teams to document and size solutions for customers.
• Data-Driven Solutions for Opportunities: Championing new solutions based on data and delivery outcomes for untapped opportunities.
• Building Successful Relationships: Developing successful relationships with all levels internal and external to IBM- from engineers to CxOs- with experience of navigating challenging debate to reach health resolution.
• Self-Motivated Problem Solver: Demonstrating a natural bias toward self-motivation and initiative in addition to navigating data and people to find answers and presenting solutions.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experienced Technical Leader: Seasoned technical leadership and credibility with proven experience of services delivery teams to drive adoption of complex enterprise-grade technology solutions.
• Effective Cross-Functional Collaboration: Demonstrable mastery for collaboration and driving resolution with a cross functional teams.
• Automation Solution Implementation: Familiar with the design deployment and post prodcution support needed for at least one of the following implementing automation solutions including automating business processes integrating business systems observability application resource management and proactive incident management.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Automation Technologies: Experience with one more of the following Automation technologies: WebSphere Application Server Extreme Scale Cloud Pak for Automation Cloud Pak for Integration Tivoli Monitoring Instana Netcool Watson AI Ops or Turbonomics or the equivalent enterprise solution

• Cloud Software Expertise: Deep expertise in cloud software technologies including IBM Cloud Platform VMWare NSX-T PowerVS Red Hat OpenShift high performance computing DevSecOps site reliability engineering IBM Retain Insights and AEM on IBM Cloud.

• Expertise in Data and IT Technologies: Deep expertise requires an expert technical level in data and IT software technologies including several technology areas including IBM Cloud Pak for Data Red Hat OpenShift IBM Db2 COGNOS IBM Watson Studio and related AI frameworks or equivalent enterprise solutions.

• Technology Expertise: Deep expertise in at least one of the following technology areas: Envizi Environmental Intelligent Suite–EIS Maximo TRIRIGA Supply Chain Insights-CIS Order Management Systems – OMS Business to Business- B2B and Environment Lifecycle Management- ELM or equivalent enterprise solutions.
