THE POSITION

The Demand and Supply Balancing Analyst will be need to able to efficiently and effectively collaborate with plants to maximize required production and distribute available finished goods; optimize fill rate and turn rates, while minimizing backorders and costs to improve Continentals overall profitability.
• Report requesting additional production in the plants to fulfill US/CAN Pipeline• Discuss marketing line launches• Discuss BKO with plants and actions to be taken• Rebalance inventory to optimize fill rate• Responsible for inventory phase in and phase out to minimize overstock• Tracking of Goods Issue (GI) by month and project deliveries• Determine planning volumes by month by article• Review inventory levels to make sure market demand is met and there is no excess inventory• Monitor low volume articles• Track fill rate for US/CAN• Tracking Forecast Changes (FC) throughout the month• Reports updates and creation• Review inventory levels to make sure market demand is met and there is no excess inventory• Review and follow up warehousing to set priorities• Review existing POs without confirmation and follow up with Plants• Tracking order creation and GI - Replenishment• Highlights to Manager and Team as to what is going on and tracking• Maintain inventory level as agreed on safety stock target• Special projects and reports as required

Job Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent• 2-5+ years of Supply Chain experience• Expert in Excel• High level of analytical skills; evaluating numbers and coming quickly to logical conclusions• High sense of urgency• Strong interpersonal/communication skills• Can work in a complex, high speed environment• Ability to think abstractly• Special projects and reports • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will can only sponsor internal employees for employment visas for this job opening• Relocation is offered

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 5-7 years of Supply Chain experience
