DescriptionAs the demand generation lead, you will be responsible for developing and managing our demand generation initiatives for Airbyte’s top-down pipeline. This is a unique opportunity to help build our marketing function, while reporting directly to our co-founder & COO. You will be accountable for the strategy, development, and execution of demand generation programs to drive awareness and demand for Airbyte for our decision maker persona (data/engineering managers and execs). You will lead a team that includes demand gen managers, events, lifecycle marketing and more later on.Â
Responsibilities- Grow our pipeline. You’ll help deliver a robust sales pipeline through organic and paid efforts to fuel our rapid growth, both inbound and outbound.
- Drive key business metrics including leads, MQLs, pipeline, and revenue through strategic and integrated programs and campaigns.
- Manage a team with a focus on growing the sales-assist pipeline with repeatable programs for higher touch users.
- Optimize our paid digital spend to generate a sustainable pipeline. You’ll lead the team to significantly grow our paid digital leads from key market segments.
- Own the paid marketing budget. Your team will manage a significant marketing budget, and you’ll help us make the right investment decisions.
- Build, train and nurture your team. Provide mentorship, management and support to their rapidly growing team of marketers.
- Work closely with marketing ops, growth, developer experience, product and sales teams
- 7+ years of experience in demand generation and performance marketing
- Experience in addressing B2B and developer audiences for at least 3+ years
- Hands-on and ability to thrive in early-stage startups
- Fluent in CRMs, audience segmentation strategies, and aligning audiences to specific objectives.
- You know how to optimize lead quality (net new and customers) based on feedback loops with Sales and Operations.
- Familiar with product-led growth and how to drive self-serve opportunities alongside higher-touch (sales) opportunities
- Data-driven and know how to drive and measure impact with a team.
- Problem solver at heart and know how to move things forward with limited resourcing or roadblocks.
- Ability to create a strategic vision and communicate it in a way that motivates stakeholders and builds buy-in.
