Wistia is looking for an experienced Demand Generation Manager to help us develop and execute our strategy for acquiring, engaging, and converting our users to customers. The ideal candidate is a customer-centric marketer who has identified and implemented tactics to increase conversion throughout the funnel by leveraging and blending together digital marketing channels and a sales team.

  • Partner with the sales team to effectively work those leads/meetings into opportunities and customers
  • Design and leverage automated outreach to complement manual sales touches to increase response rates
  • Understand the sales funnel (MQL, SAL, Opps etc) and identify and implement ways to increase conversion rates throughout it
  • Partner with Product Marketing to take product positioning and messaging and help enable the Sales team to apply it to campaigns and lead sources
  • Monitor, analyze, and report out on performances,  in engaging ways that excite teams and leaders that our team works with directly and indirectly
  • Work with other teams and departments to understand the customer journey(s) across product, digital, customer success, etc to find areas of overlap and opportunity to more closely partner

Qualifications

The best candidates will have:

  • 3-4+ years of marketing experience with experience partnering with a sales team
  • Familiarity and comfort with Marketing Automation Platforms and CRMs (Hubspot and/or Salesforce preferred)

  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for marketing

Working at Wistia

We try to ensure Wistia is an inclusive and diverse place where everyone feels happy, fulfilled, respected, comfortable, and welcome. We're proud to be an equal-opportunity workplace. We care a lot, so our benefits are actually benefits, not just the fun stuff like swag and snacks in the office (though we also have lots of those too!).

We know the biggest investment we can make is in our employees, so we provide:

  • A competitive compensation package that includes internal equity stock options
  • 401k with 3% company contribution, regardless of whether you contribute (Roth 401k available)
  • Fully paid healthcare, dental, and vision insurance (family plans included)
  • Pre-Tax FSA and Dependent Care Account
  • Flexible working hours – work at the times when you operate best, or set aside time for child and/or elderly care responsibilities during traditional “office hours”
  • 16 weeks paid parental leave for all new and expecting parents
  • Unlimited PTO (pretty common for people to take 4+ weeks off throughout the year)
  • Remote-first culture (work from anywhere in the U.S.)
  • Annual professional development stipend (courses, conferences, and more)
  • New hire bonus to enhance your home office set up
  • Pet insurance discount
