Job Description

Position Summary:

The Demand Generation Manager will own the conversion funnel working collaboratively with the sales and marketing team to drive inbound marketing/outbound marketing and optimize lead conversion. They will be responsible for building strong, integrated marketing programs using a mix of content marketing, paid/organic digital marketing, email marketing, and webinars to drive new business opportunities and revenue. They will manage a marketing budget that will drive the most qualified leads through paid programs such as Demand Drive, Ignitium, paid digital, and events while making sure to measure, analyze, and report on campaign performance and provide strategic direction based on analysis.



Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:

  • Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Demand Generation Manager is responsible for taking ownership and driving strategy to increase demand and improve the customer’s experience
  • Execute, monitor, and optimize strategies to build brand awareness, promote current and new products and services, identify new markets, and create excitement while developing customer loyalty
  • Develop and execute a diverse, robust multi-tactic plan that drives digital engagement into the top of our demand funnel and moves prospects quickly through the demand funnel toward qualified lead
  • Build and manage a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our owned properties (blog posts, white papers, webinars, social media, website, etc.)
  • Serves as lead/point of contact for implementation in segment; support the ongoing campaign development (flow, cadence), creation of lead and nurture models, content templates, segmentation strategy, and content mapping, lead management.
  • Incorporate tried and true B2B and account-based marketing (ABM) strategies with the latest marketing tools and tactics to help the QuartzBio sales teams build and accelerate pipeline
  • Partner closely with BDRs and Sales to define account targets, develop integrated campaigns, and deliver programs that resonate with prospects throughout buyer’s journey
  • Collaborate with design and digital teams for the development of different elements required by the campaigns including production of imagery, design, and build of emails, landing pages, banners, and other creative materials.
  • Conduct data-driven experiments, report on campaign performance, and forecast where to adjust continue to drive results and improve our growth strategy
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:


Minimum Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a marketing or business, or equivalent experience in a marketing, business development, or sales environment
  • 5–7 years of marketing experience with a background in B2B SaaS demand generation, customer acquisition and retention using creative and data driven approaches

Other Required:

  • Proficient in digital marketing, including SEO, PPC, lead scoring, nurturing programs, list management, segmentation, and targeting
  • Deep understanding of full-funnel performance marketing & growth levers (acquisition, adoption/activation, monetization, retention).
  • Strong working knowledge of Hubspot
  • Proficient CRM user (Salesforce or Hubspot)
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with advertising platforms, such as LinkedIn, Google Ads, or AdRoll.
  • Thrives in a results-oriented, fast paced environment and can conceive of and implement multiple, concurrent demand generation activities to add prospects to the funnel and move them through to qualified lead
  • Ability to work in a team environment with Sales, Business Development, and Product Marketing
  • Strong verbal, written and project management skills
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Thrives in funnel analytics and speaks in acronyms like MQL, SQL and conversion rates
  • Be exceptional at productivity and communications software (i.e., Google Docs, Google Slides, CRM, SmartSheet, SharePoint, Asana, etc.)
  • Must be able to read, write, speak fluently and comprehend the English language


Preferred:

  • Prior experience with Account Based Marketing (ABM)
  • Prior experience in Pharmaceutical, Bioscience or Life Sciences industry preferred but not required
