As the events & field marketing manager, you will be responsible for the strategy, implementation and execution of field marketing events to fuel sales pipeline for Envoy. You will lead efforts for third-party events including trade shows, as well as for Envoy-hosted events that help to build our brand. You will report to the Senior Director of Customer Acquisition & Operations and will partner intimately with the Demand Generation, Visual Design, Product Marketing, Comms/PR and Sales teams.Â
This is a great opportunity for a passionate events marketer to help accelerate Envoy’s business. You will identify the right events for Envoy to sponsor, spanning demand-driving and brand-building efforts. You will partner with our Director of PR to secure speaking slots & talent for brand events. You will work closely with the marketing and sales organizations to develop a robust program of third-party and Envoy-hosted events, including supporting inbound pipeline generation & account-based marketing efforts.Â

This is not a remote position. The ideal candidate will need to be onsite & able to participate in Envoy’s hybrid work schedule (3x/week in office).
You Will- Plan and complete field marketing campaigns after conducting preliminary research.
- Plan, schedule and execute trade shows, conferences, industry meetings, executive dinners, customer advocacy activities, etc.Â
- Work with the visual design team to procure creative assets, signage, merchandise, and other materials to be used at field events.
- Build and maintain relationships with third-party vendors and venues.
- Negotiate with retailers and other third-party partners on promotional display and merchandise placement.
- Promote the creation of new business SQLs through successful field marketing programs to support the inbound marketing engineÂ
- Plan and execute hosted events to support our account-based marketing programs as well as account-based marketing programs.
- Partner with the BDR and sales organizations to use events to generate leads and convert them to new business pipeline, through BDR enablement.
- Attend relevant trade shows and events and act as a brand advocate for Envoy. This includes both virtual and in-person events.Â
- As it is safe to do so, travel to trade shows & events is a requirement of this role.Â
- Manage the field marketing budget, including tracking, management and coordinating with internal accounts payable team on delivering payment to vendorsÂ
- Report weekly/monthly/quarterly on the status of field marketing activities.
- 3+ years of experience in events & field marketing in a B2B SaaS environment
- 3-5 years of experience in demand generation or a related marketing fieldÂ
- Experience managing third-party vendors including agencies and contractors, specifically in the space of event management (coordinating with event hosts, conference organizers, booth storage/production, and more)
- Experience partnering with BDRs and sales teams to coordinate, communicate, and effectively follow up with leads generated from marketing campaigns & events
- Experience coordinating cross-functionally within a marketing team to build & execute campaigns
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and shift workload to meet deadlines
- A high degree of self-awareness with highly developed emotional intelligence
- The ability to set and juggle priorities to focus on the mission critical issues, including the ability to adapt and pivot to reflect changing business landscapeÂ
- Extraordinary written and verbal communication skills
- Note: Envoy will comply with federal and state mandates regarding COVID-19 vaccinations. We will require employees coming on site to be vaccinated or in compliance with weekly testing requirements
