About the Role

We're looking for a talented and driven Demand Planner to join our growing team. You'll have the opportunity to make an immediate impact within the supply chain team across several brands in our portfolio. The role will lead building our demand planning function to support optimizing our brands’ revenue, purchasing strategy, inventory levels and SC flow. This is a startup environment, so there's lots of room to make a big impact and grow.

You will

  • Own all top-down & bottom-up direct to consumer product forecasting; incorporating strategically driven formulas and tools to support launches, trends, promotions and seasonality
  • Support syncing item and launch level forecasts to correspond and support financial & marketing goals
  • Create performance reporting; weekly, promotional, launch & monthly basis - close inventory gaps
  • Develop and manage of new supply & demand processes and planning tools
  • Lead S&OP meetings focused around supply and demand patterns
  • Serve as the system expert for demand & supply planning system(s)
  • Support manufacturing and inventory scheduling (raws, semi-finished goods, finished goods) in syncing forecasting productions with planning action
  • Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure accurate scheduling that aligns to both the capabilities and needs of the business
  • Other projects/responsibilities/SC Analytics as needed

You have

  • BA/BS in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or similar
  • 3+ years of experience in Demand Planning or Forecasting
  • Experience working with D2C forecasting
  • Robust communication, presentation and time management skills
  • Strong leadership skills — you’re motivated, take initiative and are nimble to drive output across various departments and projects
  • Detail-oriented and quality-obsessed — nothing is too small to understand and improve
  • Strong organization skills
  • Efficiency-driven — always identifying and streamlining processes
  • Adaptable & Solutions oriented — comfortable with ambiguity and fast to adjust to changing circumstances
  • Proactive about driving continual improvements
  • Experienced in using Microsoft products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) & G Suite products (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Beauty or color cosmetics industry experience a plus
  • Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment

Work environment
