Demand Scheduler

Location: North Houston, TX (near George Bush Airport)

Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility

The Demand Scheduler is responsible for managing the daily shipment of small parts. This role involves updating parts with tracking numbers and ensuring all information sources, such as Oracle, ERP, and spreadsheets, are current. The Production Plan must be maintained daily, including scheduling orders for staging, quality control, shipping, and delivery. Additionally, the Demand Scheduler will request parts and branding materials that are not in inventory. Coordinating schedules for ATMs and parts is essential, ensuring all teams involved are aligned for successful operations. Promptly responding to emails to resolve issues related to orders and daily warehouse activities is also a key responsibility.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Demonstrate Oracle Cloud system configurations that enable the business processes, specifically Inventory, Order Management, Work Order Execution, and Procurement Requisition.
  • Coordinate projects from beginning to end with the Sr Demand Planner, Demand Planner Lead, and other internal customers.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to Inventory/Demand Team.
  • Build and manage relationships with internal customers.
  • Manage, plan, and execute small to large sized project and contribute to success of the project.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work independently and can effectively handle ambiguous situations.
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager.

Basic Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a warehouse / supply chain environment
  • Project Management skills to complete projects
  • Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel and Outlook)
  • Ability to communicate (verbal and written) with others effectively.
  • Ability to work in a Warehouse environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data management
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to respond promptly to issues

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud
  • Familiarity with inventory management and production planning
