OVERVIEW

Bella Canvas is looking for an experienced Demand Planner to join our team. In this position your main duty will be to develop statistical sales & inventory forecast by utilizing supply chain management software Anaplan, insightful storytelling & weekly reporting and create statistical models that enables sales team to achieve revenue goals. Leverage statistical and trend performance to drive distributor and direct recommended buys to ensure in-stock KPIs are achieved. 

The ideal candidate is highly collaborative and able to influence peers through compelling data insight presentations while fostering engagement cross functionally. Track forecast accuracy, measure results against KPI targets, identify risk | opportunities, and make appropriate strategic course correction recommendations.

RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Conduct in-depth market research to create informed sales and inventory demand forecast.
  • Bottoms up forecast to drive production and inventory planning based on demand forecast data.
  • Compile, analyze and interpret monthly reports and other data.
  • Collaborate with planners, and policy makers to research, analyze, or resolve complex transportation issues.
  • Analyze working procedures with the objective of identifying process improvements & best practices.
  • Track and utilize client feedback data to create continual improvement cycles.
  • Monitor vendor performance and proactively identify opportunities and risks with inventory performance.
  • Act in the best interest of the department to resolve conflict with external partners while maintaining a professional relationship.
  • Active & engaging member of the team that provides strategic and tactical information as a critical tool in our decision-making processes.
  • Meet regularly with client leads to evaluate team performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Create and maintain financial models to drive business decisions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in business, engineering, computer science or statistics, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience with supply chain demand forecasting role.
  • A problem solver with attention to detail and critical thinking skills. Taking initiative in identifying problems, root cause through to resolution.
  • Fluent in spreadsheets and frameworks.
  • Demonstrated time management and prioritization skills.
  • Comfortable collaborating and making decisions with an eye on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

The base salary range for this position is $85,000-$100,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
