We are looking to add a Department Manager III to our department. In this role you will help represent Cleveland Clinic's innovation and desire to provide the highest level of service to our patients. This program provides a vast opportunity to work together with regional leadership while gaining baseline understanding of clinical operations. Being a high-visibility program caring for donors, you will be working across all workstreams and departments of Cleveland Clinic enterprise. This individual will be responsible for maintaining current operations and for the operational activation of new sites throughout Florida.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Manages department personnel and operations which includes staffing, training, work flow analysis and performance management.
  • Manages staffing to ensure appropriate allocation and compliance with goals and objectives.
  • Monitors quality and financial performance.
  • Ensures compliance with government health regulations, JCAHO guidelines, quality requirements and customer service standards.
  • Recommends enhancement and cost saving strategies.
  • Resolves interdepartmental issues to ensure consistency in quality, procedure and policy application.
  • Develops, monitors and implements programs to enhance customer service, develop skills and improve scope of service.
  • Analyzes programs and makes improvements.
  • Participates in managers meetings and relevant committees as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Administration, Business Administration or related field.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum three years team lead, supervisory or management experience.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Offset: High School diploma/GED and five years of experience.
  • Offset: Bachelor's degree and one year of experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate office equipment.
  • May require extended periods of sitting, standing and walking.
  • Must be able to walk to attend meetings; must have normal or corrected vision to normal range.
  • Ability to clearly communicate by phone and in person.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
