Job Description:
As a Deployment Lead for McDonald's Global Technology, you will be responsible for supporting the successful execution of the Restaurant Technology Roadmap across 19 IDL Europe Markets.
Your role will encompass market stakeholder management, engagement with key McDonald's suppliers and internal IT Teams, and running a team of project managers and technical leads to deploy restaurant IT and digital solutions.
You will work as a member of the Global Technology department within the IDL BU with a variety of internal teams in order to successfully and collaboratively deliver against our teams and market's roadmaps.
You will work with and alongside the IDL MEA counterpart, the Knowledge Hub team, and our own team of Project Managers and Technical Leads.
Responsibilities include:
Deployment Delivery:

• Delivery of 100% of the IDL EU Restaurant Technology Roadmap
• Supporting the timely engagement with the markets on the preparation and readiness for the deployment of the solution; training, documentation, capacity, support, etc. to ensure successful deployment
• Proactively identify and establish any dependencies for the deployment of the solution
• Act as a point of escalation for deployment team, suppliers and Markets for all areas of solution deployment
• Collaborate with Solution Services team on solution bundle transition and/or training matters to ensure rapid and repeatable deployment process
• Work in close partnership with Digital team on digital activation aspects relevant to the solution deployment
• Provide a bridge between Market deployment activity and Segment Lead to enable collaborative support to Markets

Stakeholder Management:

• Maintain a strong partnership with our MEA counterpart to ensure efficiencies and a one McDonald's way.
• Build and maintain strong relationship and alignment with partnering McDonald's supplier teams (E.G> Acrom)
• Ensure that risk management and mitigation is carried out routinely and effectively
• Represent the IDL Deployment Team in wider engagements to build visibility and brand reputation to our external customers (CIO Connect, QTRs, Market Engagement Calls)

Financial Management:

• Conduct the EU market chargeback process

Skills/Knowledge

• Demonstrable track record of deployment of solutions into multiple markets/regions
• Knowledgeable in areas of Delivery, e-commerce, POS (Point of Sale Systems) and Customer Engagement platforms
• Experience in project management with store-level execution required
• Experience in deployment of technical solutions across network of geographically dispersed and/or high number of sites (e.g. stores, restaurants, countries) preferred
• Experience in technical product lifecycle management from product development, through to testing and pilot management, and ending with mass deployment
• Ability to oversee the development of project schedules, communication of deadlines, enforce project deadlines and creatively solve issues
• Able to work with culturally diverse teams across levels in a global organization and in an extensively outsourced environment
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, must prioritise effectively, be organized and meticulous
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, agile environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferably in engineering, computer science or technology field preferred
• Project management qualification is desired
