Deployment Manager
Job Description

Evolv is looking for a Deployment Manager to help support our revenue objectives and manage a team responsible for all aspects of deploying Evolv's products whether through a direct or channel partner go-to-market motion. This includes planning, delivering, installing, onsite training, and operational (go-live) support.
Success in the Role: What are performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?In the first 30 days, you will:
- Develop a cadence for managing and supervising the team, including establishing one-on-one sessions
- Gain an understanding of the current process for ordering, scheduling, and deploying Evolv's products
- Gain an understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the deployment of Evolv's products and the reporting methods
- Develop a strong understanding of Evolv and our vertical markets
- Understand our products (value proposition, return on investment, operations, etc.)
- Attend training sessions, review videos, and gain other Evolv product exposure
- Complete 75% of required LMS (Learning Management System) onboarding trainings
- Support at least one (1) Evolv product-based deployment at a customer or channel partner site
- Meet with Vice President of North American Sales and Regional Sales Directors for each region, as well as the Sales Manager for each regional team
Within 3 months, you will:
- Further establish a cadence for managing and supervising the team, including continuing one-on-one sessions
- Reinforce understanding of the above through direct management of the team and participation in the current process, starting to establish yourself as a leader within this process
- Deepen your understanding of KPIs related to the deployment of Evolv's products and the reporting methods
- Be able to set up and demonstrate the system in a controlled setting and handle routine deployment related questions
- Complete 100% of required LMS onboarding trainings
- Complete Level 2 Certification training on Evolv Express
- Support at least 3 Evolv product-based activities (demo, pilot, deployment, etc.) at customer or channel partner sites
- Meet with all relevant members of sales teams within each region
- Lead at least one (1) Evolv product-based deployment activity at a customer or channel partner site
By the end of the first year, you will:
- Be fully independent, handling all activities related to managing the team, team growth, team member growth, and deployments, including partnering with the revenue organization to realize Evolv's revenue objectives
- Be driving the necessary deployment related KPIs and reporting on them as required
- Be regularly visiting customer or partner sites to directly oversee or support deployments on an "as needed basis", whether to carry out the deployment or as part of a continues improvement process

Leadership and Reporting
- Lead and manage the team, as well as the Technical Sales and Solutions team and revenue organization
- Reporting of deployment related KPIs to leadership, both within and outside the revenue organization, potentially including the executive team
Team Engagement
- Establish weekly deployment team meetings
- Establish weekly one-on-one meetings with your teamCustomer Engagement and Customer Service
- Regularly engage customers in the deployment of Evolv's products, including supporting the resolution of any customer related issues
- Regularly provide in-person support during deployments for the purposes of completing the activity or continuous improvement
Personal Development
- Regularly complete any necessary trainings, as well as career and other growth-related training
- Mentor team members related to career and other growth
- You will be joining the large Technical Sales and Solutions team, reporting to the VP of Technical Sales and Solutions.

- 25%-40% travel required
- We prefer this candidate to be local to the Waltham area, though we are open to someone in the continental US who can travel and occasionally come to the office.
