OVERVIEW
The Banking Operations Associate supports our business clients with deposit functions such as wire transfers, client documentation, account maintenance, and fraud issues. This role communicates directly with the client and executes tasks.
This role is remote with a requirement of 1 day in office per month for departmental meetings; therefore, a candidate in one of our major markets of Kansas City, Milwaukee, or Madison is required.

The Banking Operations Associate supports our business clients with deposit functions such as wire transfers, client documentation, account maintenance, and fraud issues. This role communicates directly with the client and executes tasks.

Essential responsibilities of the Banking Operations Associate:
- Deposit Functions
- Wholesale lockbox setup/maintenance and client assistance
- Client and Account maintenance
- Sweeps set up and maintenance
- Balancing of various G/Ls and DDA accounts as assigned
- Edit/verification of maintenance performed on the system
- Check adjustment processing
- Exceptions processing: reg E disputes, overdraft processing, non-posts, Fed returns
- Fraud cases
- Wire transfer processing and client support
- Deposit and Client documentation retention management
- Client Support
- Ability to communicate clearly with internal teammates and other departments around issues where multiple areas might be involved.
- Handle consumer online banking phone calls
- Communication and collaboration with vendors on an as needed basis.
- Internal Collaboration
- Actively participate in collaboration with internal partners in working with shared clients.
- Available as a resource during product or service implementations.
- Assists in training Deposit Operation I Associates with various tasks and processes within the department.
The successful candidate should have:
- Associates degree or equivalent in related work experience
- 2-4 years of banking experience required
- Ability to speak clearly, understandably, and listen to clients/prospective clients and co-workers.
- Demonstrate well developed verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and use independent judgement with minimal supervision.
