Department: Deposit Operations

Location: First Bank

Reports to: Deposit Operations Manager

Summary: This position supports daily deposit transactions under the guidance of the Deposit Operations Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follows and incorporates First Bank's Core Values and established policies and procedures.
  • Maintains records of financial transactions.
  • Reconciles and balances accounts and posts transactions.
  • Process and support function for back-office processing and documentation required for transactions and actions perform by retail and institutional banking customers through various lines of business, including debit card purchases, payments, deposits, checks, mobile deposit, ACH disputes, etc.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of these transactions and perform adjustments and reconciliations as needed to correct errors or fulfill customer requests.
  • Provides general support to other areas of the Deposit Operations department and Retail Department.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Knowledge of departmental operations and procedures as they relate to overall bank operations.
  • Demonstrate basic computer operations skills.
  • Proficient interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Answers incoming phone calls and routes to required party.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.

Education/Training/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to twist, bend, sit, walk, use hands to twist, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, such as a computer mouse, computer keyboard, calculator, stapler, telephone, staple puller, etc., reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, talk or hear. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Certain employees may be required to lift-up to 50 lbs. as required by their duties. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
