Description

The Deposit Operations Lead in Footprint Solutions performs intermediate to advanced operations tasks in compliance with department policies and procedures, risk standards, and established deadlines. Lead assists the Service Leader and our diverse team in the daily monitoring and operational oversight of mail rooms and self-service locations, as well as internal/external courier delivery operations across the Citizens footprint.

Collaborates with team and other departments to create successful outcomes for customers. Helps the team to drive ongoing process improvement efforts & promotes a growth mindset amongst team members and long term thinking.

Candidates must demonstrate professional communication skills (both verbal and written) in dealing with colleagues and customers.

Primary responsibilities include

  • Sorting/distributing mail and delivering packages
  • Monitoring and responding to calls/emails/in person requests regarding shipping, mail, and courier services.
  • Cross training & coverage of assigned tasks/task areas/daily work assignments
  • Scanning/imaging mail documents
  • Flexibility to work in other Delivery Services office locations as needed
  • Basic data capture & entry of daily volumes/metrics
  • Performs QC (quality control) tasks & coaches team members on errors and procedure compliance
  • Other duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Solid organization and time management skills, & personal accountability. Able to plan & prioritize daily responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate professional communication skills (both written and verbal) in dealing with colleagues and customers
  • Able to work independently & collaborate effectively
  • Experience with taking ownership of time sensitive processes & strategic decision making
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Clean driving record

Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

  • High School or equivalency required
  • Customer service phone & in person skills required
  • Experience with financial services industry and banking operations preferred
  • Knowledge of proprietary applications and systems preferred
  • Moderate proficiency with MS365 and data/metrics management preferred

Hours & Work Schedule

Hours per week: 40

Schedule: 8:30 am-5 pm, Monday-Friday
