Job Description

The Deposit Pricing Analyst I supports managing the commercial deposit portfolio to drive deposit growth and profitability by examining and implementing pricing changes resulting from the analysis of market trends, client behavior, and competitive landscape. Assists in the development, execution, and tracking of pricing strategies by collecting, analyzing, and reporting portfolio trends and behaviors. Maintains and develops internal and external tools that manage portfolio volumes, pricing methodology and governance for analyzed, non-analyzed, and interest-bearing deposits.

How You'll Spend Your Time

• You will maintain and examine reports that drive portfolio volumes and pricing strategies, including internal balance/rate/fee trends, pricing sensitivity, what-if scenarios, client and portfolio behaviors, and competitive rate analysis.
• You will research and compile business and industry competitive data to explore and develop tactics to achieve strategic goals.
• You will prepare materials for Deposit Pricing Committee, ALCO, and other meetings as needed.
• You will actively monitor the deposit portfolio to ensure adherence to pricing decisions, balance targets, etc.
• You will over-see our go-to market strategies: This includes providing marketing and product support to sales and service organizations.
• You will stay current on financial and industry regulations as they apply to deposits.
• You will research and follow industry trends in the deposit space to build upon knowledge base.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related degree with 3+ years' relevant banking experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
