SUMMARY

Summary The Office Coordinator is responsible for the effective operations of the clerical, billing, admissions/registration and patient scheduling aspects. The Office Coordinator also provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The Office Coordinator maintains records, charges for services, and handles patient referrals. The Office Coordinator interacts with patients and act as a liaison between patients and providers.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience is required. On-the-job training is provided once employed in the position. Technical, clerical, critical thinking and interpersonal skills. Other certification requirements as defined by the certification policy. Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

PREFERRED

Bi or Multilingual.
