Deputy Director for Security, Safety, and Campus Services

All competitive candidates for SES positions with the Federal Government must demonstrate leadership experience indicative of senior executive-level management capability. Candidates must possess experience at the senior level (GS-14/15 level or equivalent) in the following job-specific Professional/Technical Qualifications (PTQs). The PTQs measure the technical expertise required by this position and must be addressed within your five-page resume.

PROFESSIONAL/TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS (PTQs) (Mandatory):
1. Demonstrated experience in providing direction and leadership for a wide range of diverse safety, security, and staff support services for a major medical organization.

2. Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing an organization's strategic plan, goals, objectives, and initiatives and planning for the resources to achieve the strategic and mission-focused direction.

3. Ability to oversee the implementation and use of innovative, state-of-the-art methods and techniques to carry out and improve programs and services and ensure they meet stakeholder needs and regulatory requirements.

4. Senior level experience in representing an organization to a variety of stakeholders including Federal, state, local and professional organizations and other senior leaders and building relationships, fostering and open exchange of information, collaboration, and negotiating with them to achieve joint strategic priorities and resolution of issues.

5. Senior level experience which demonstrates a commitment to building strong working relationships that advance diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility.
