About the Job

Tenet3 is seeking a talented leader as our Deputy Director of Programs. You will lead a diverse team of experts in project control and be the lead for attainment of business objectives, goals, and outcomes. You must provide strong leadership to drive targeted business results and manage risk while overseeing the program management and business development workforce. Central to these responsibilities is building collaborative relationships with our executive leadership team, communicating powerfully and prolifically to the company, and utilizing your knowledge of organizational behavior to help the company operate effectively. As the program control lead, you will be the catalyst that keeps Tenet3 running and use your experience to help Tenet3 grow.Β  All candidates with relevant skills, experience, and degree levels will be considered. This role reports to the Director of Programs who reports to the President.

Essential Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesΒ 

  • Program Management oversight for all Tenet3 programs and projects
  • Program control – allocation of personnel to support tracking of performance to plan and leadership of all program managers, business development, proposal development, and marketing specialists
  • Business Development to include tracking all initiatives in our pipeline
  • Proposal determination and facilitates bid/no bid decisions for solicitations. Works with senior leadership to establish timelines delegating tasks and tracking completion to an established timeline
  • Responsible for developing and executing our Annual Business Plan once approved by the leadership team
  • Oversees budget and resource allocations to ensure alignment with company goals
  • Responsible for product and company marketing and branding initiatives
  • Assists the Director with the creation of key performance indicators, and assessment of organizational health to align workforce contributions to company strategy
  • Responsible for achieving company objectives in accordance with leadership direction including growth and profitability targets
  • Reviews company risk and mitigation strategies
  • Directs execution activities to ensure Tenet3 delivers on its commitments, provides quality service, earns repeat customers, and develops customer advocates.
  • Performs program financial performance analyses providing strategic decision-guidance to the Executive team
  • Manage the business development team
  • Lead and conduct market and competitor research
  • Identify client priorities and win themes
  • Lead the creation of a proposal project plan and manage the proposal team
  • Ensure proposals and presentations are brand compliant
  • Report proposal progress to executive management
  • Prioritize RFPs based on likelihood of winning and value
  • Track RFP data and win rate
  • Lead kick-off and debrief meetings
  • Act as point of contact for prospects and customers
  • Travel as required by customers and projects

Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in Business or related field
  • Thorough financial and business operational knowledge
  • Experience in developing Annual Business Plan
  • Responsive to customer needs
  • Familiarity with digital engineering, MBSE, and agile software development
  • Excellent writing, public speaking, and verbal communication skills
  • Team-player attitude, willing to accept from and offer direction to others
  • Future focused and able to articulate strategic needs
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire people to action
  • Ability to obtain a TOP SECRET clearance. (Must be a US Citizen).

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field
  • 10+ years practical and related program management experience
  • Experience with DoD acquisition programs and processes
  • Familiarity with Air Force systems and operations
  • DAU Level III in Program Management, or PMP certification
  • Active TOP SECRET clearance
