The Finance & Admin Business Analyst is essential to the ongoing profitable operations for one of the most globally recognized and respected companies in the world. By overseeing our financial activities you will enable IBM to continue to bring to market ground-breaking innovations such as Artificial Intelligence Cognitive Solutions Cloud Infrastructure and Blockchain technologies to name a few.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Deputy Group Manager –Finance and Accounts (P2P) you will be responsible to plan organize and lead P2P team in driving the SLA End to End metrics agreed with the accounts. Prepare review and deliver along with ensuring accuracy of business activities within the department. Interpret and apply company policy and accounting principles to financial transactions for internal control compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage service delivery of Procure to Pay (P2P) processes in scope
  • In-charge of invoice processing vendor master management; query resolution indexing Invoice reconciliation Payments T&E Pcard and accounts reporting activities
  • Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLA) are met on timelines and accuracy
  • Ensure proper financial treatment of team’s transactions
  • Maintain sound Internal control environment and ensure client deployed SOX and key operation control are implemented successfully.
  • Lead Special Projects and handle customer expectations
  • Systematically identify analyze and tackle issues and problems to reach optimal solutions in a timely manner
  • SAP and Oracle ERP experience preferred.
  • Reporting and Analysis on KPI metrics biz Paid on time (POT) analysis First Pass Yield (FPY) PO penetration etc.
  • Weekly review of payment proposals (high value critical vendors etc.) and provide approvals.
  • Vendor statement reconciliation on regular basis.
  • Leading and Managing team and report to management on daily basis.
  • Document productivity and look for areas of improvement suggest and implement ideas within the process

Supervisory Responsibilities

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing hiring and training employees; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in P2P in handling all aspects of P2P along with transformation
  • Proven experience in handling across all aspects of P2P
  • Ability to interact and lead multiple customers across the globe and handle issues
  • Experience to continuously look for opportunities to improve metrics and the validation of the data
  • Proven analytical and numerical ability
  • Validated presentation and interpersonal skills with flexibility in work hours
